Habitat Management at Rixton Claypits

When:
Sat 22 Oct 2016

Description

Rixton Claypits is one of the best sites for great crested newts in the North West of England and an impressive range of invertebrates can also be found there. This diversity is partly due to a careful management programme and over the winter of 2016-17 ARGSL will be helping the Ranger Service to remove trees and scrub to create more ponds suitable for great crested newts. If you're able to help out with this important work you’ll be very welcome. if you'd like to take part please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
